COMPLETE Plan – Apartment/Private Home Renovation

The process begins 5–6 months before the scheduled renovation start date.

What does the process include?

Phase A - Early Planning

1. Initial Stage - Introduction and Needs Assessment

The process begins with a personal meeting designed to gain a deep understanding of you and your lifestyle. During this meeting, we will review your needs, preferences, and planning priorities: number of rooms, preferred design style, and how you use each space - kitchen, living room, bedrooms, and additional rooms (for example: keeping kosher, frequent cooking and hosting, working from home, and more). This stage establishes your dreams and aspirations for the home and forms the basis for planning principles that allow for precise solutions from the very beginning.

2. Concept Development & Planning Alternatives

Based on the initial meeting, the conceptual and schematic design phase begins. At this stage, we examine spatial distribution, natural flow within the home, interior-exterior relationships, and adaptation to the site and plot dimensions. The defined needs and aspirations are integrated into the design to create a harmonious, functional, precise, and aesthetic environment. In a follow-up meeting, we will review the alternatives together, evaluate advantages and disadvantages, and refine the most suitable direction.

3. Construction Drawings

While awaiting permits, we proceed with preparing the full set of construction drawings for the contractor.

The drawing set includes:

• Demolition plan

• Architectural plans

• Sections and elevations

• Electrical and lighting plans

• Plumbing plans

• HVAC and ceiling coordination plans

• Aluminum / glazing plans

4. Architectural Bill of Quantities for the Contractor

The bill of quantities is a central tool in the renovation process. It provides a detailed breakdown of all work, materials, and quantities required for the project and enables a more accurate cost estimation. The document serves as the basis for managing contractor tenders, allowing each contractor to submit proposals based on identical, transparent data. This ensures fair comparison between bids and minimizes gaps or surprises during the project.

5. Flooring & Wall Finishes Selection

The selection process begins with flooring, wall finishes, and sanitary fixtures. These choices form the design foundation of the home and influence the overall architectural language. Based on the selections, precise flooring plans and tile layouts are prepared for execution.

6. Kitchen Design

According to the kitchen layout, detailed carpentry plans are prepared. These plans serve as a basis for approaching kitchen companies or carpenters to obtain quotes. The design includes specifications for finishes, cladding, façade samples, wood use, and detailing - all integrated into the overall design language of the home.

7. Custom Carpentry Design

Carpentry planning is carried out with a deep understanding of the family’s needs, focusing on storage solutions, functionality, and precision. The chosen design concept guides every stage - from material and color selection to finishing details. Special attention is given to finishes, handles, joinery details, and woodwork. Close coordination with the carpenter ensures precise execution of the design.

Phase B - Renovation Execution & Selection Days

8. Joint Selection Days

As part of the design plan, shopping days are held, including:

• Furniture for all living spaces

• Lighting fixtures

• Wall colors / wallpapers / wall cladding

• Curtains, rugs, and textiles

• Accessories and greenery

9. On-Site Meetings & Supervision

During construction, on-site meetings are held with various professionals. The support includes supervision of the work and ongoing quality control against the approved drawing set, ensuring accuracy and high execution standards.

10. Final Styling

Once construction and purchases are complete, the final styling phase begins. Furniture, textiles, artwork, and accessories are placed and arranged to complete the overall look, creating a cohesive, precise, and comfortable home.
